Extra Information
There are travel cots available for those bringing babies or toddlers, the house is fully equipped with BBQ, tables and chairs, sun loungers, a fully fitted kitchen, a washing machine and dish washer.
Set on a quiet street 2 mins from the sea front the Pool House is rumoured to have been owned by the owner of Olhao’s first bank some 150 years ago. Beautifully restored this deceptively large house is a typical example of Portuguese architecture. When you walk into the front door you would never imagine this magical place with enchanting courtyards and a swimming pool. All the bedrooms are very spacious and all have en-suite facilities. Every room has been thoughtfully decorated with antique furniture which adds to the charm of the house.
The Pool house is a prefect getaway for a group of friends or family, there is plenty of entertaining space, with a fully functional kitchen, a very large sitting room, a large garden which has enough room for 10 to eat comfortably as well as a large swimming pool. There are two further sunbathing terraces for guests to enjoy relaxing in the Portuguese sun, reading or enjoy a cocktail at sundown. All the bedrooms are on the first floor with an additional triple room on the top floor. There are 2 double bedrooms, a further double with an additional single bed, and an attic room which sleeps 3. The whole house offers guests a very homely, comfortable environment.
Hairdryers are provided in each bathroom and both bath and swimming towels are provided. Guests are asked to bring their own shower gel. It is possible to have a daily maid service if booked in advance.
