Margaret Eggleton

Margaret qualified as an art teacher in North London and taught in Surrey schools for many years.  She exhibits her work locally and in London at the  Mall Galleries,  Bankside Gallery,  Westminster Gallery,  Llewellyn Alexander Gallery and the Menier Gallery.

She is a member of three professional art societies:
THE SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS (SWA)
THE SOCIETY OF BOTANICAL ARTISTS (SBA)
Council member of THE SOCIETY OF GRAPHIC FINE ART (SGFA)

Margaret has taught various techniques in watercolour, pencil, gouache,
ink, oils and mixed media for more than 20 years. She also leads workshops, demonstrates and critiques for art groups as well as organising and teaching painting holidays in France, Britain and Portugal.

Subjects include: buildings, people, flowers and landscapes, which all have a strong emphasis on good drawing. She is writing and illustrating an art instruction book called “Drawing Flowers” for Search Press.
