Kathy Macmillan
Kathy MacMillan was born and brought up in Derbyshire, England. She is a self taught artist who adores the luminosity and immediacy of watercolour, the vibrant, emotive brush marks of oils or acrylics, also the expressive lines and subtle tones of pen and wash, and pencil drawings.
She has won many awards for her talents and worked as a professional artist since 1995 and has a permanent exhibition space in the Gallery in the Gardens, Buxton, Derbyshire. Her aim is to achieve a definitive flavour of a place and time through keen observation and technique.
