Mixed Medium Painting Course
Mixed media means the use of more than one medium. i.e acrylics, oil sticks, wax, watercolour, chalk pastels, oil pastels, collage etc.
A course ideal for groups coming away with a variety of artists who enjoy painting in different styles, also perfect for those wanting to learn how to mix paints. Mixed weeks cover a variety of technical approaches from mixing your own pigments, wax encaustic painting, acrylic paints and mediums, oil paints and mediums and painting the perfect picture.
We have several groups coming away who all paint in different mediums, we have tried to cater for this by adding mixed weeks where tutors demonstrate in oils, acrylics, pastels watercolours etc so if you are coming away with your art club and everyone has a preferred medium do not worry, by joining a mixed week we achieve to cover all styles.
