Non residential courses

We have several guests who live in or around Olhao, stay with friends or who are close by that do not require any accommodation. Guests can join from a minimum of 3 days to the full week.

Photography Workshops:

The aim is to develop a deeper, more conscious involvement in the process of making photographs.  Each day will concentrate on a fundamental element of picture making such as Light, Composition or Colour and we will be looking at how some great names of the past and present have used them to make powerful images.

The student will need to bring a digital camera of any standard. (we believe good pictures depend on vision not equipment, as long as we are aware of the limitations of the latter!) A laptop with leads for camera input is also necessary.

The vast visual feast of Olhão will be our subject. Students will have guidance in their chosen area which may range from the study of the forms in food from the market to dynamic street / people compositions.
